The Essilor CBOX is capable of connecting to a number of Essilor and other manufacturers’ devices, including Essilor DBOX. The CBOX creates an XML file that’s filled with measurements. The RevolutionEHR to Essilor CBOX XML integration picks up those XML files and then parses and maps the results to Patient Encounters. This integration requires the RevIntegrator to be installed and running on a Windows-based PC. The instructions below will explain the setup and configuration of this integration.
CBOX Supported Devices
If assistance is needed installing the RevIntegrator, please refer to page 4 of this guide.
Once that software is installed, from the Settings screen, click the Add Device button and then select the Essilor CBOX XML device, then click Add Device.
Once the Essilor CBOX XML device is added, the Path setting might need to be updated to match your PC or your CBOX’s configuration.
The File Connection Path field will need to be edited to point at “R:\”
To do so, click the “…” button on the line Path under File Connection > Path.
Using the Windows Pop, highlight “R:\” from “This PC” and click “Select Folder.”
Confirm that the correct selection is entered for “Path” and click “Save.”
To capture patient measurements and upload them to RevolutionEHR please follow this basic workflow.
1) From RevIntegrator’s main screen, select the Patient from the list of today’s active encounters. Select the Essilor CBOX XML device. If there’s only one device hooked up and configure, it will be automatically selected. Click the Capture Data button in the lower right-hand corner.
2) A file list screen will open. Click the Search field and scan the QR code for the patient.
This QR code can be displayed from CLARIFYE+ by selecting the same patient in the CLARIFYE+ Exam app on the iPad.
The QR code is displayed next to the patient on the List of the Day or on the patient’s summary screen.
3) Scanning the QR code will autofill the Search field with the patient’s ID and narrow the Files results to only files for the patient.
4) From the list of files, select the file that corresponds to this patient’s measurements, then click the Select button.
The next Preview Data screen will be displayed, unless the Disable Preview checkbox was checked on the Device Settings screen. Finally click the Send to RevolutionEHR button and the measurements will be uploaded to this patient’s encounter.
The Data Submission dialog box will be displayed, unless the Disable Ok setting was selected on the Device Settings screen:
Repeat this for each of the CLARIFYE+ machines used in the exam.
To view the results open the RevolutionEHR web application, find the patient, find their encounter. Each encounter has multiple tests so please refer to the next page for the tests that each device maps to.
NOTE: If the results are not displaying on-screen, click the Refresh button in the lower center of your RevolutionEHR encounter screen. This forces the latest results to be displayed.
The following tests are required to be present within an encounter to successfully import all XML files generated by the CLARIFYE+ exam. Missing tests will cause an error to display when importing data.

Keratometry:
Lensometry with Prism:
